Well the answer is of course because many feel there is not better alternative.
The vast majority of politicians are self serving liars. Therefore many people will vote for the ones they dislike the least of a vote to make sure the one they dislike the most doesn't get in.
What astounds me is that so many still bother voting at all. For me choosing which leader I want out of the current choices is like choosing if I'd prefer a red biro or blue biro to be stabbed in the eye with.

how do you feel about snp alliance with labour? personally I think its a good thing, would keep labour honest if you like. Or would it come at to high a price regards devolution.

Sturgeon may promise to do stuff for the English but she's like all the rest, once given a bit of power they do what they like.
Sturgeons long term aim is one thing only, that is Scottish Independance. In the meantime she wants as much wealth and advantages at the expense of the English she can get her hands on.
